About the City of Cascade

Cascade, Iowa is entered in Dubuque County near the borders of Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin. The Cascade Chamber of Commerce invites you to visit a "Place We Call Home".

We are located on Highway 151 between Dubuque, Iowa and Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

About the Cascade Chamber of Commerce

The Cascade Area Chamber of Commerce is Organized to achieve the objectives of:

• Preserving the competitive enterprise system of business by: creating a better understanding and appreciation of the importance of business people and a concern for their problems; education of the business community and representing them in city, county, state and national legislative and political affairs; preventing or addressing controversies which are detrimental to the value of a more liberal investment of substance and self on behalf of the interests of competitive business;
• Promoting business and community growth and development by; promoting economic programs designed to strengthen and expand the income potential of all business within the trade area; promoting programs of a civic, social and cultural nature which are designed to increases the functional and aesthetic values of the community; and discovering and correcting abuses which prevent the promotion of business expansion and community growth.

About the Cascade EDC (Economic Development Corporation)

Cascade Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) was formed to further the economic development of the city of Cascade as well as the immediate surrounding area and to promote and assist the growth and development of business concerns, including small and medium sized business concerns in the area.

The CEDC’s purpose is also to stimulate business opportunity and development in the Cascade area as measured by increased employment, payrolls and business volume. Our CEDC members are proud to be able to work toward our goals on behalf of the citizens of Cascade.

About the Tri-County Historical Society

The Tri-County Historical society has been around for many years providing a central location where you can see the history of Historic Cascade and the surrounding areas. The museum is open from 1PM to 4PM May through October or by appointment if you would like a tour that fits your daily plan. So, come on over to the Tri-County Historical Society Museum located at 608 Second Ave. SW. Cascade, IA 52033 for a day filled with wonderful small town history.
